"Vanitas" Short Film

Hamilton Guillén's project about a woman becoming obsessed with her own reflection took a different turn this past weekend during a reshoot. The video has a colorful old cinematic style a la Charlie Chaplin mixed in with awkward dance movements that reflect the main characters quirky ways. It brings joy to my heart every time Hamilton shows me what he's done with it in the editing room. It's still weird seeing myself so up close and personal on this short film, but at the same time--I am happy I was part of it! Once I get a copy, I will post some excerpts.
