Reflections on tonight's rehearsal for "Pieces of Her"

From 4:00pm-7:45pm today Natalie Marsh and I worked on "Pieces of Her." The trio is now condensed into a duet for the September 4th and 5th performance at The Garage. We are so excited to be performing at the In Between Pretty presented by Footloose show. Tonight we added a new section to the piece. Here's what I can share: video projection, street performance, monologues, and well--if you come to the show you can tell me what else you see. I am happy what we've been able to clean up today, and although this is still a work-in-progress I have joy in knowing that it will be shared. I hope this performance will connect with someone in the audience, and if not...I hope someone gets a laugh in every now and then. What can I say, art is tricky that way -- the work I make is not everyone's cup of tea, but life is short and I'm weird. I hope you can come to a performance and check out the new section to this dance. Natalie and I sure are swimming in the work.
