FEMME FEST: Celebrating International Women's Day - March 8th

This Wednesday, March 8th, I will be performing Spoken Word alongside the other powerful mujeres of Chicanas, Cholas, Y Chisme. Join us for this Femme Fest: Celebrating International Women's Day event happening in DTLA! It's only $10 to get in, with partial donations going towards Planned Parenthood. I look forward to sharing a piece I wrote about my immigrant family,  and about an unforeseen death in my college community in 2012. If there's time...maybe something new and fresh for this festival.
