Artists En Acción supports The San Fernando Valley Refugee Children Center on October 10 & 11, 2020 @ 7-8 pm (PDT)

Tune in this Saturday October 10th, and Sunday October 11th, 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM (PDT) to #ArtistsEnAcción 2020. This free artist showcase is made possible by the willing hearts of artists who want to make a difference. Sit back, relax, and DONATE! Watch the art pieces on our YouTube Channel this weekend. We'll have raffles prizes, messages of hope, artistry, and community at NO CHARGE. In return all we ask is that you DONATE TO THE CAUSE DURING THE EVENT. 

The San Fernando Valley Refugee Children Center

Last month we asked for artists to submit their artwork to be part of this event to support The San Fernando Valley Refugee Children Center's MATCHING GRANT CHALLENGE. See their ask below. 

We received beautiful films, dance videos, artwork, songs and poems from an expansive group of folks who want to gift their talents and help The San Fernando Valley Refugee Children Center reach their $25,000 Matching goal. We have people from California, DC, and even Turkey, Istanbul signed up to help raise awareness and funds for the organization. Be part of this virtual experience, which - again - is absolutely FREE TO ATTEND. 

Everyone involved in this project is a volunteer and has given time and effort to be part of the night.

2019 Recap

On November 16, 2019 - #ArtistsEnAcción was born into the world and alongside incredible human beings and volunteers - artistry gathered to celebrate and uplift ourselves and our communities. We fundraised for children at the border and supported Kids in Need of Defense and the San Fernando Refugee Children's Center. The night was beautiful. Incredible artists gave their time to raise awareness and funds towards these two organizations. It was a beautiful evening of powerful performances through dance, song, and spoken word. Thank you to all our friends, family, funders, and partners who gathered for this important night.
